The other day I was looking on Youtube for some bag organisation (lets just say I'm one of those people that throw everything in and I sort it out later). So I decided I needed to sort everything out and keep everything together and organised I decided to do some research, I stumbled upon Sonia's travels Youtube channel. She has a lot of packing tips and organisation travel tips I find them really informative, go over and have a look. But first of all I want to talk about one of her videos packing cubes or packing cells us New Zealanders like to call them.

Packing cubes are not for everyone, some love them, some hate them. the people that usually like them are the the super organised, clean-desk types who love it when everything is in its place - I'm one of those people. The key thing is, with these packing aids you can group similar items together and keep the dirty clothes separated, making it much easier to find what you’re looking for.

The  cubes main benefits are in the unpacking rather than the packing. When you get to a hotel room, you pop the cubes out and your done, unpacked in a minute . If you are moving from hotel to hotel (or hostel to hostel which is going to likely for me) this can be a great time saver. You’re not as likely to lose a stray pair of undies or a single sock either, plus some cubes are designed with two sections, for dirty clothes and clean. Most have mesh on one side so nothing gets mildewed by being confined. so in my opinion if you want to stay organised and have everything compacted and together these are a great invention. Lets just say if your a back pack kind of person these aren't for you.

Packing cubes

So if you can remember back to my last post 10 things I want to do my last goal was to do something every day to further my plan to move over seas. This is one of the thing I did, I went out and bought some packing cubes to fit all my stuff in. The ones I got are a bit different to the ones that Sonia has on her channel but I found one from Kathmandu. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a packing envelope in New Zealand so if you find one please let me know. I though I would just let you know al so that Kathmandu are having a east sale this weekend and all the packing cubs are buy 3 for $30 (it is so cheap considering some are $30 each). so go check out the sale on a Kathmandu.
