So last weekend I went up north to friends batch to celebrate my birthday, it was such a lovely weekend and a good break from the city life. We drove up to Snells Beach where we stayed and had a good look around at the Matakana markets which had so much good food, I would go again just for the food. The rest of the day we just chilled out back at the bach and played so games and drank cocktails just what I needed after a long week. The next day we drove further up north to Goats Island went for a walk around the coast and tried to look for fish but couldn't see any. We drove back for lunch and got some not so great fish in chips, but hey it was fish and chips. We even finished it off with a yummy ice cream. I thoroughly enjoyed my long birthday weekend and I was very spoilt with gifts. Here are my five favourite pictures from my birthday shenanigans.
