Ice cream, Ice cream, we all scream for nice cream!

Ice cream is one of the foods where it doesn't matter what diet, lifestyle plan I'm on I just cant give up a good scoop of ice cream. Especially on hot summers day. The melty creamy texture I could just die for right now but what if I told you I knew how to make the same creamy texture and flavor with just 3 ingredients and half or even 1/4 the calories, no added sugar, gluten and dairy free made from all natural ingredients. and guess what you can eat as much as you want as it is so clean.


I will let you in on a little secret frozen bananas are the best for making a quick treat for the afternoon or desert treat. You can do anything with them but ice cream is my favourite all you need is a food processor and a freezer.


Banana ice cream


Ingredients Serves 2


2 frozen banana

1 dash of your milk of choice
1/2 tsp of vanilla essence.
1 tsp of honey (optional if you want it sweeter)



STEP ONE:

Cut up you banana's in to 1 cm thick slices put them in a zip lock bag and place in the freezer over night. (I always have banana slices in the freezer as they are so good to put in smoothies for a creamy thick shake texture)

STEP TWO:
Break up the slices of banana and place in the food processor with all other ingredients.




STEP THREE:

Blend until smooth. Then scoop in to two bowls and garnish with some extra banana slices or chocolate chips.

The beauty of this recipe you can literary add any other fruit or nuts or chocolate to this recipe to create other flavours. One of my favorites is adding about a tsp of cacao powder and a heap tsp of peanut butter to make chocolate peanut butter cup Nice Cream.
